Welcome to Android Central! Which menu are you looking at--is it Settings>Date & Time? Sorry, I don't have a Note 10.1, so I don't know the exact menu hierarchy.

That's strange. You don't even see the Automatic Date and Time option greyed out? Can you post a screenshot of that menu?

Nope, it's not there... I always thought it was because this was a WiFi only model (and automatic time only worked with network auto-time), but now I wonder, if my PC has it, why not my tablet? Mmm... But yeah, the Note 10.1 2014 does NOT have auto time.

Wifi-only Android devices don't have automatic time zone selection, but they should still be able to get the date and time automatically.

This also just happened on my Samsung 8" Tablet. The option just isn't there anymore!?!
Can't access Google Play Store because the time is wrong.
Don't know when this happened. I unsynched a lot of my google+ stuff about a month ago.

Go to "Settings" tool, go to "General" and slide down left hand side to "Device manager" and find "Date and Time", there you can set date, time, select time zone, select time format (12/24 h) and date format, once set internal clock should keep date, time alive....

Hello
No, that does not update date and time if you move from one timezone to another. This recently happened to me, when I was on an East Asia tour, visiting HongKong, Singapore, Seoul and Mumbai, and I had to manually change the times at all the places.
thanks

I have a 10" and 7" Samsung Tab 3. I had to reset the 7" after it froze recently and when it started again it lost the automatic date and time. This has never happened with the 10" even when resetting to factory settings. I just checked the 10" that seems to be fine with date and time but neither offer an automatic date/time setting. Now I am not sure if it was there before but I think it was. Maybe they were taken off with one of the updates. My motorola android does have the automatic date and time switches. I would also like to know how to solve this.

I am experiencing the same thing. My Samsung Galaxy 7" tablet doesn't have a checkbox for "automatic date & time". See attached. Please help! I have an app I need to use that requires "automatic date & time" be turned on, but I cannot turn it on.
