no updates available after root --- HELP

Please please help
I rooted my note 10.1 2014 today, and checking updates, found that it will not update, because it has been changed. I read somewhere what to do if this happened, but have lost that thread/url completely. Can someone here please help me with this, so that my Note will update.

a rooted device will not get OTA updates. You should look for manual ways to get updates in the xda forum. It's one of the reasons I'm hesitant to root.

Did u flash a custom recovery, freeze or remove any bloat? If you answered yes to any one of these then you need to revert back to stock. If u only rooted then try voodoo root keeper it'll uproot but save the root so after u update u can reroot

The developer tat puts out your root will probably update it before Samsung updates the stock OS. Worst case scenario it will be out shortly after it is released. You are better off with the root than dealing with Samsung.

I followed the route suggested over at the xda-developers forum and now will have OTA updates when they are released.
