Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 - Potential cause for boot loop problem
I think I found the cause for the device's boot loop problem or at least on my device.
The issue may be caused by a stuck power button.
My stock device (not rooted) went into boot looping randomly ranging from every few hours to every few days.
I tried removing SD card and disabling Wifi always scan. Neither worked.
Earlier today, I noticed the "Device options" window popped up just before the device went into boot loop.
I noticed the power button did not seem to re-bounce as much as it should.
After the 3rd boot, I flicked the back cover right where the power button was, the device got out of boot loop as the result.
I was able to duplicate boot loop several times by getting the power button to get stuck then flicked the cover to free it.
I'm not saying this is a confirmed cause and solution without extensive testing.
I don't have time and don't want to force my device to go through so many boot loops.
The solution seems to work for my device so it may work for yours. Try it and post the result.
If it is not the case, I'll stop flicking my tablet.
