Spen and Bamboo Stylus Feel Weirdness

With my Note 10.1 I periodically switch between the Spen and a Bamboo Stylus Feel. I have used the Bamboo for several months with no problems. Now once in a while the Bamboo won't do anything. It works perfectly on my Note 8.0. The Spen has no issues. I did discover that with Lecture Notes you can change it between hardware and software emulation. I can use both the Spen and the Feel with Lecture Notes. However a lot of times when I leave the app only the Spen works. I tried changing nibs but did nothing. Any thoughts on this issue?
