Unboxing the Note 10.1 [w/ PICS!]

As excited as I am to get my first tablet (!) up and running, I couldn't deprive the Android Central community of a ceremonious unboxing. I refrained from video and instead shall provide photographic evidence of this historic day. Please forgive the office lighting in the absence of my Android Central photo studio (it's currently being renovated). Time for some fun. Enjoy!

First and foremost we have the box itself. I sure hope it's in there...

Whew! What a relief!

Upon digging further I discovered a booklet and charging apparatus. But where is the cable?

Ah ha! There it is. Wait, what's this?

Different size tips for the S-Pen. I better be careful to not lose them being so small. Good thing that dime is there for comparison. Speaking of...

That cable looks awfully apple like. Sammy doesnt make it easy on themselves sometimes. Should have went with a universal port like everyone else IMO. Other then that, great unboxing!

Odd that they are still packaging up a brand new device like Apple does..

I'm not really saying Samsung copied Apple on anything, but look at the similarities of how Apple packages up their stuff. Plastic compartments, layered, white material..

Samsung.. come on, at least try and not make it SO obvious.

You use that to change out the stylus tips (to grip them).
It is the same as with the Galaxy Note phone's stylus pen holder. (as well as ASUS tablets with stylus)

Great information. I have the original Galaxy Note and am interested in the S pen with different tips and whether they will work on MY note. Have you tried the different tips to see what they do? Thanks for the unboxing. Reading everyone's messages on here makes me want to run out and buy the 10.1 myself!

Awesome. I got mine on the evening of the 15th of August in Singapore. I was so over myself to start using this baby that I did not take any pictures. I am really loving this toy of mine. Oh yes, my other phone is a Galaxy Note 5.3
