I will be buying this tablet from either best buy or jr, both are local. I was wondering if I should wait a couple of weeks for potential sales or would it be unlikely that it would go on sale?

I heard last wheel Fry's was having a sale for a $100 when you purchased the note from them. I bought mines at full retail with no regrets. I love it! I would definitely look around though to all the tech sites to make sure you don't miss a deal like the one from Fry's. I've also seen people buying the 32gb one from Canada sites for $449 which is $50 cheaper than the 16gb in the us.

Best Buy's price isn't likely to go down unless the Note 2 10.1 tablet is about to be released.

I don't know about you guys in the states but we're getting the 4G version 'late in the year', so I'm hanging out for that. I just hope it's soon...!

I get 4G hotspot off my phone so I had no trouble jumping on this one. Good luck with your wait 98! Hope it comes soon for you.

Me, too. I have Verizon Unlimited Data and a rooted 4G phone (i.e. I use it as a hotspot without having to pay anything extra). No reason for me to even WANT a 4G tablet. That would just be an extra data plan for me to pay for.

ps. though I do run this way, I don't think my data usage has ever gone over 3gig in a month and usually not over 2, so I definitely do not feel like I am abusing the situation.

My advice. The 10.1 note is hopeless. Maybe it's just androids because I've just made the mistake of shifting platforms from iPad but the platform is clumsy and slow and the S Note (their flagship App) is hopeless, can't import PDFs and is sooo clumsy to operate it reminds me of computing in the 80's. Save your money and buy a ZX81.

I was thinking the same thing Legal. "Skyerosebud" really just doesn't get it. I will buy your Note from you, if you don't want it. You can go back to Apple. I love it, I played around on both platforms. I still like the note better than an Ipad....
