I am really new to this and am trying to learn how to use my new Note 10.1, but things keep changing. I had task manager on my mini app bar at first but it is gone now. I looked in the manual and found I could access it by tapping and holding the home button on the lower left. Then Google added something, I am not even sure what to call it, and now when I tap and hold the home I get a half circle graphic with Google at the top. Sliding up to that now opens a Google page with search, weather and can give you other "cards" with information, but nowhere does it pen task manager. I have not found any other way to access it, but it is something
I will need a lot to clear background apps. How do I get rid of this Google thing or at least access my task manager easily?

Cant get rid of the google 'thing'. The task manager is found when you tap the double window icon next to your home button.

Is there no way to put this back on quick launch? It is frustrating when they move something like this
