Has anyone tried ScreenShare out of the play store? Supposed to allow you to share your Internet on your phone with your WIFI tablet.
I was thinking of trying it between my Note 2 and Note 10.1

I should have my Note tablet in a couple days, I want to give this a try. I'll let you know how it goes.Quote:

why dont you just tether you phone to your note?
go to setting and either tether or make your phone a wifi hotspot
Because the hot spot option is a low gb plan for too much money especially when I wouldn't need it all that often.Quote:

So I tried this between my Note 2 and Note 10.1
Had some trouble pairing the two devices, eventually figured it out.
My overall impression is...meh. It works ok, maybe it's because the signal in my building is not great, but there was quite a bit of lag on my tablet trying to run it through my phone's data connection with these apps.
I would say give it a try, there is a free version and paid version (I tried the free version...maybe the paid is better, not sure). If you have a strong data connection for your phone, it could work fairly well.
Thanks for your input.
Ok let mi get this right pls correct mi if I am wrong you give a thumbs up to the above?Quote:

Because I thanked him for answering my question about that app.
HygradeB:
Tethering and using the app are not the same thing. Tethering is typically a pay per use, or add on to a wireless plan in the United States. This app effectively skirts the wireless subscribers policies, by allowing the tablet to connect between the app on the tablet and the app on the phone. It makes it look like only the app on the user's smartphone is accessing the internet, and not a separate device tethered just to the smartphones data connection.
These apps usually spark up, last a little while, and then get blocked or pulled because the wireless providers want you to pay to tether the devices together in the traditional sense.
Thank you for explaining it better than I did.Quote:
