How to unlock pin locked screen ?

Playing around, I've locked my screen with the 4 digit pin, but, how do I now unlock it ? !

Not sure if this will work for your phone but mine will prompt for the password to the gmail account attached to the handset. Keep entering the wrong pin until you get the prompt.

As far as I know, for to get prompted for the Google account's password the device needs a data connection.

i typed pin something like 150times and still email or any other atlenative prompt doesnt show up...depressed...i do av loads of family photos and frnds msgs inside...can i get some pin breakers etc???
