Help !!

So I shattered my note 10.1 screen and as I was replacing it, the sd card holder snapped off a small circular thing (don't know how to describe it). Now I am scared if I turn it on.

It should still boot fine. If anything you won't be able to use the SD card slot anymore. Did you finish replacing the display?
