    Default Banner Ads In Chrome

A few weeks ago banner ads started showing up at the bottom of the window when I am using the Chrome browser on my GT-N8013 (running 4.1.2). They do not show up when I visit the same websites on the stock browser. The ads are typically for Best Buy, Jaguar, Lincoln, and other legitimate businesses/products. They can be closed and they do go away, only to come back a little later in the session. They definitely slow down browsing. I ran a few adware scans (including Malwarebytes and TrustGo Ad Detector) but nothing came up. I uninstalled Chrome, re-booted my tablet, and then re-installed Chrome. About a day or two later the ads started showing up again, though not as frequently as before. I do not get these ads on my desktop version of Chrome. Any thoughts?

It's Google's software and they can put ads anywhere they want!
