S Note files all gone, how can I get them back?

S note files all gone

My S note files on my Samsung galaxy note 10.1 have randomly gone. They are not in the app when open it or in my files. Why/ where could they have gone. About 6 different notes have gone.
Thanks for any help, I really want them back!

Welcome to Android Central! Do you recall if the notes were saved to the microSD card rather than Internal Storage?

I'm pretty sure it was internal storage. Can't see them on micro SD either.

The reason I ask about Internal Storage vs micro SD is that there's more chance of data loss on the latter, since SD cards are more likely to fail or become corrupt, compared to internal storage.

Do you know if your S Notes get backed up to your Samsung account? Try logging into your Samsung account and check there.

Sorry, I'm not sure what else to suggest. Maybe use the My Files file manager to look through all directories for the lost file, but I'm not sure what S Note files look like. My guess is that each note isn't a separate file, but rather all notes are saved in a single database file.
