Will rooting the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition still keep it usable for drawing?

Hey guys,

I tried looking up this question before, but got conflicting answers.

Got an amazing deal for a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition Wi-Fi only on eBay. I mainly intend to use this tablet for drawing, and the Samsung bloatware feels terrible to me.

Will rooting it to a stock Android ROM take away the pen digitizer features and pressure sensitivity?

Rooting will not in anyway affect your ability to draw with the spen. The spen & its features will be unchanged if you stick with the factory installed ROM (whether its rooted or not). If you change to a custom ROM the spen will still be a functional stylus, but it does lose some of its functionality (like the button/lasso/scrapbook functionality). If you just intend to remove some bloatware and not change ROMs after rooting, your spen will be unchanged. Just fyi rooting it will trip samsungs knox fuse... if you dont know what that means just google it.
