Battery life is terrible, I only get 3 hours.

Both my wife and I have the note 2014 edition since December 2013. After a little over a year the battery life suffered on both machines. It got to the point of only gettin about 2.5 hours of use. For Christmas I purchased 2 new batteries from eBay and not we both are only getting about 3 hours. Basically Internet use both surfing and watching some YouTube videos. I checked the battery usage and the screen is the biggest usage but not too big. So basically there are no apps causing an issue unless it's hidden and happening on both machines. Any thoughts what could be the issue and what to do? Thanks.

Did you replace the batteries yourself?

Show us some battery stats. Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).

Read the thread Flickering of Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, same as your but larger screen, the issue mainly from cracked battery connector.
Re solder this connector will fix it permanently.
