Due to the exynos chip exploit there is an apk method to root your phone. Has anyone here done that?

Rooted mine today was the simplest one to root yet great job!!!

I will be putting up a different root method I think is easier than this. I already have all the files together. I just need test it out when I get my gn2. I don't particularly like mskips root method and think my way is easier and faster. I also have a simple return to stock method I will be putting up at the same time.

Looking forward to it. I rooted mine with the exploit apk but I'm sure on the next update I will lose root. Pm me once you get your method up and running

Not trying to compete with other methods but will be posting LJC one clicks and the root method I use for making those and other .tar builds.
Just really depends what flavor everyone wants...

I'm sure Skunkape60's method will be just as good but I chose to follow qbking77's way because of the ease to follow the video.

I also installed The Wi-fi tether mod (WifiTether_TrevE_Mod_11_20_2012_insmodv3).

Tested it by tethering it's 4g speed with my HP touchpad and it works great
