Reset changed the language to Chinese

Hi

I am trying to prepare my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phone for resale.

I thought I'd do a reset, by choosing reset through settings.

Once it finished and restarted the language shows as what looks like Chinese, help! How do I get English back??

Any help appreciated!!

I don't have a Note 2, but I do have other Samsung devices. I would imagine that if you turn it on it will now show the first set-up screen. I would think there's a text box in the middle of the screen with your foreign language in it. Try a long press on this & hopefully a drop down box will appear with all the languages and you should be able to select English. As I said, I can't be certain, but I recently had one in Dutch & this worked.
