I have been using this all day [off work], pretty impressed was able to do what needed. Text, phone, Surf, slingbox, drawing...see what happens in a couple of weeks.

It should get much better than that. My battery got better and better after i got it. My note 1 will be at 40 to 50 percent after a workday with fairly heavy use. 20 percent by 10pm.

I have to say I'm pretty impressed with battery life too. Great to be able to charge just once every day & a half.

Those of you running 40 to 60% percent screen on time are getting excellent battery life, especially with 25 to 45% percent battery left after 13 hr's.

Lets see after the lte model launches....

The Sprint and US Cellular models are LTE though their networks have very little LTE coverage.
Still, I have seen very few battery complaints from this BIG screen. I was expecting more.
Users have generally been praising the battery life of this beast along with everything else (the only discernable negative complaints are over a 1 second wake up lag and frustration on waiting for the Multi-View upgrade).

But as you mentioned, the big battery test will be the Verizon launch because of their huge LTE network. Also, we should have a larger sample size to report in because VZW will sell more units with vastly more customers than US Cellular or Sprint combined.

Very true, verzons Lte will be the big test. "real" 4g speeds suck up the "excellent" battery life. Sadly for me i haven't seen a True battery review yet

Read anandtech's review. He was predicting that the Note 2 would have better battery life on LTE than on T-mobile's 42mpbs gsm network. Apparently the new LTE modem on this device is extremely efficient. This would be very exciting if it holds true.

"On T-Mobile DC-HSPA+ the Note 2 also does pretty well, it?s in the upper third of our results, still above the SGS3, and among other phones I subjectively consider to have great battery life on cellular like the One X (8960). I suspect if I had been able able to get the Note 2 on AT&T LTE (more on that later) we?d see even better run time thanks again to the race to idle advantage that you get with the faster air interface." - anandtech
