Verizon preorder placed, progress tracker.

So placed my preorder night of 10/24 at 11:30 PM Pacific time. The email confirmation doesn't give any status except "We received your order and it is in process."
Called Verizon next evening on 10/25 and the lady said she can see its been fulfilled and waiting to be shipped? According to lady should get shipped next day on 10/26? I don't know if I believe her but she said from her experience once its ready to be shipped should get picked up next day and ill get a shipping tracking number.
Will wait and see if she's right.

Have contacted verizon support and they won't give out ship date, just say will ship by Nov 27th???

Why are some giving out dates?

My order status still shows no ship date.

I called the Verizon rep again just now at 5 p.m. Pacific and he told me that the phone is being shipped out today I should get the tracking number by tomorrow at the latest. He estimates a Monday Tuesday delivery.
the Verizon rep told me that even though it says preorder it's getting shipped out today.
I'm still not sure I believe him but having a second rep give me a positive information at least is reassuring. I guess I'll believe it when I get the phone in the mail. I will leave a follow up if I get a tracking number by email.

I'll believe it when you get the device too, lol. The "ship by Nov. 27" date makes me think that these reps are reading from the "when a customer calls asking about when their order will ship" script on their screen and they have no idea about what's really going to happen. I would love it if you did get your device next week though... I'd place my order now instead of waiting until late November! :-)

So website still not updated when I check the progress tracker. Called Verizon and this time the lady said all she can see is an estimated ship by date of November 27! So I knew it was too good to be true regarding the earlier ship date. At this point all we can do is hope for an earlier ship date.

No change, just checked website. Called Verizon couple days ago and this time the nice lady said it isn't getting released until 11/27.
