Keep Voice to Text key on keyboard?
I rely on voice to text a lot.
Is there a way to set up the keyboard so that the Mic is to the left of the spacebar by default?
While it's not a big deal, long pressing the T key every time and then selecting the mic. gets tedious.
I can't seem to find a setting for replacing the T key with the Mic. - 11-11-2012, 02:32 PM #2

Re: Keep Voice to Text key on keyboard?
There is NOT a setting for this, sadly. However, you CAN always have it there. In the stock, Samsung keyboard that button self-configures to the last option you selected. So, if you long-press it and use voice-to-text, that's the quick-setting you'll have available the next time. But beware, if you long-press it and choose, say, the keyboard settings, then THAT's what will appear in there next.

Re: Keep Voice to Text key on keyboard?
Yeah that's the problem. It's continuing to default back to the keyboard settings each time even after I've just used the voice to text.
Every time I go back it's back set to T, regardless of what I used last.
I should also add this is an AT&T Note 2. - 11-11-2012, 04:24 PM #5

Maybe try this version of Swype for a full time V2T button? Swype issues/questions
