What is the difference between the the sgh-i317 variant in comparison to the N7100 and N7105 version of the galaxy note 2?

The SGH-i317 supports ATT's LTE network. The N7100 has no LTE support, and the N7105 supports some European LTE networks.

I'm loving it so far, a big (pun intended) improvement over my original Droid Incredible. I'm using it prepaid on RedPocket. Bye Bye big Verizon Wireless bill!

I'm not sure my AT&T is LTE, it only says 4G on the top bar of my Note 2...
That Is just their logo on the top bar ...under settings "About Device" will show you what your phone is running on.

Re: SGH-I317 Variant of the galaxy note 2 (LTE IS ALIVE AND WELL WHERE I LIVE)

I have the same phone with ATT and am very impressed with the speed of the local ATT LTE network here near Kennedy Space Center in Titusville Florida. As you can see the 4gLTE indicator is lit up on the top of the screen and some of my recent speedtests are on the screen as well. Darn thing is way faster than my cable internet connection at the house. So, I am liking it a lot! It's weird though when I am talking on the phone, the LTE indicator goes away, and only the 4g indicator is on.

HSPA+ is 4G and still great, your phone runs on either - a big advantage to AT&T...it might have to do with if you're surfing and taking a call at the same time
