Home button as wake up button in addition to taking you home?

Is the a way that whenever the screen goes to sleep while you're using it, that whenever you press the home button to wake it up, instead of it automatically taking you to the home screen, it just wakes up and when you press home button again and it then takes you home? It's kinda annoying for you to be in an app and the screen goes dark and you press the home button and it immediately takes you out of the app and to the home screen whenever youre just trying to wake it up.... any of you all have that happen to you?

This happened to me as well, did you by any chance disable open S voice with home button? If you re-enable it this problem should go away, it helped me anyway.

I don't use s voice.I have an app (home 2shortcut) that whenever I double tap, Google now or whatever app I chose opens.

For some reason after i had gotten a replacement note yesterday and I installed home2shortcut, and when I set it to open Google voice after double tap, it still opens s voice and at times it opens both at the same time but voice overrides Google voice. Any suggestions?
