Jedi X rom
I just rooted my very first android phone. It was VERY easy. Has anyone used this rom before? Are there any caveats with this?

Re: Jedi X rom
I have yet to root a phone... doesn't it take away some of the great features? Also what real gains are there?

Re: Jedi X rom
Rooting it self does not take anything away. Having root access means you have superuser rights or administrative rights. You can change system files that you normally would not have access to. Flashing a rom is different. That is like loading up custom software to your phone. So for example if you had a windows pc you could load up apple operating system (just making a easy comparison people).
