my car charger blew while charging...

Hey guys, so I was in need of a charge so I decided to use my old galaxy S 1 car charger I had from long ago. It worked fine for the firs 7% then it just blew and I could tell it overheated because of the smell it had. I am just wondering if it is bad for my GN2 or did it just affect the charger?

Likely the inexpensive charger just died, happens. See if the phone still charges on something else and if so just throw away the charger.
