How do I add apps to it? I can only edit apps out of it into a side page but I can't add? Please help

I'm sorry, but it is my understanding that you cannot add apps to the side menu unless you root your phone. Unfortunately, the apps selected by Samsung or your carrier are not inter-changeable. On the Note 10.1 tablet the multi-view feature only has 5 apps to choose from. At least on the phone the ones offered are typically the ones most used.

That sucks. Why make everything customizable and not that?
So those few apps are the only apps to do multi window with??
