broken Glass vs LCD? Which one?

So I see all these $30 glass screen replacements versus the $220-250 LCD replacements. Here's a photo of my phone, do you think it's the LCD or can I just order the glass screen to replace? Here's what it looks like:

Just dropped it from my lap onto the ground after getting out of my car. I drive a miata, so not that much room from my lap to the ground.

Phone is perfectly functional. As in zero touch issues, or anything else wrong.

It is just the glass then, but i dont know how simple it is to fix

Nothing a bit of patience and a fifty cent fender guitar pick can't handle. I prefer the medium thickness for glass replacement and thin for actually playing guitar. YMMV
