Easy protective flip case idea

I loved the flip cover but was worried about the accidental drop. Even though I have never had a phone break anything can happen. With the limited cases without adding super bulkiness out there I figured I would try something. I ordered a few color flip cases and the protective shell from Samsung with my 50% off from registering the phone. When I got it I tried to put the shell over my flip case and noticed it would fit but not nicely (it bubbles out and the flip part was harder to open since the protective case folds over it a bit. Well it took me 5 minutes to dremel out a groove with a fine sanding disc and then smooth it out with a buffing disc. I did not cut it totally out but you could (and I may) so the flip cover folds totally back easier. With the discounts it cost $35 to get the best of both worlds and is easy to do.
