How do I stop the android and google browser from rescaling images in search result?

I have this problem where the images of search results tends to be downscaled when search is done.. Why is this..?
I've not set my device to 'power-saving' or anything like it at all plus I'm on wi-fi not cell data.. Can anybody help me through this..
The only browser not behaving like this is my Chrome but I want to use my android browser and google search the most.. :'(

Have you tried using the settings button while inside the stock browser? There are alot of useful options to tick or untick in there.
