Skype App Permissions
Hi Guys
I was going to download the skype android app but I was a bit thrown by one of the permissions that allows the app to call numbers without intervention. I'm new to android but this seems a bit strange. I've surfed the net but cannot find any answers so can anyone tell me what this means and why this is in the permissions? Is this a normal permission?
I should imagine Skype is OK but I don't want to compromise my new phone without understanding what the implications really are.
Regards,

Re: Skype App Permissions
If you are going to use for your phone only. You should try Tango. I like it a lot better.

Re: Skype App Permissions
You can call peoples numbers they have set on Skype using your dialer. It's not a problem.
