Stock email question

Is there a way to change the stock email app background? I've seen videos in YouTube where the background is dark instead of the white background. It's a silly question but I haven't been able to figure it out, thanks for your input in advance!

I've noticed the same, where the gmail inbox has the white background and the "other" email inbox has the black background.
Have yet to see options to change the color, as I prefer the white background instead (easier on the eyes)!

I prefer the black background on everything. The white is too bright and easier on my eyes. Black background with white letters is the best. My stock email app background is white. But I've seen videos where it is dark. Still trying to figure out how to get it dark, thanks for your input

Sorry to go slightly off topic but have you tried windroid mail? Of all the email clients it's absolutely my favorite.
And very easy and clean to read and use.

And lots of visual options.

There's an option as part of power saver mode to change the background from white to black I think...

If you look up YouTube vids most of them show a dark background on that stock email app

I don't think so, because this is a video straight from Samsung. Lol

At the 3:28 mark you'll see the email is different. I'm not sure if its because it is the international version or if its because it is titanium gray color?
I still haven't found the answer

yes, have to be rooted even though it looks stock. it might've been an option at one point, but not now. check out this discussion and how to change the background color at:
