...when using mobile data or wifi, is it normal for the upper back and earpiece to get warm-moderately hot? I'm in a tropical country, so I notice it's kinda hotter than usual. Other than those instances, my device is cool.
Sidenote, tapatalk is nice.
Not sure if it is normal, I live in Singapore and mine gets warm when I am using the internet connection..

I just installed Gsam battery app to monitor temp, 36° is the highest so far. It's always 34-36 with wifi. I'm in PH, btw.
From my experience there's nothing to worry about if your're below 50°C when doing some processing (gaming, gps navigation, hd video playback, voice communication) or charging and below 40°C when idling, especially if youre in a tropical country and the surrounding temp. is already ~30°C.
