hey guys,

i have an unlocked international note ii gt-n7100...

i tried all the ways to try to screen capture, s pen, etc

everyone says to press and hold power and home for two sec but all that does is open up a list of recent apps and screens.

nothing works.

any tips?

highly appreciated if anyone with same experrience can share!

I have mine set to where I swipe my hand from right to left across my screen. . . Go to your settings and you'll be able to change this!! Hope I helped

if you're possibly running an old version of android, try holding down the VOLUME DOWN button and the POWER button at the same time. if that works, then you've got an older version of the OS.

if that doesn't work, then try the HOME button and POWER button as you said. But try it two ways: first, try it when pressing and holding both buttons at the same time. If that doesn't work, try holding the HOME button down first, then press and release the POWER button while holding the HOME button.

if none of these work, then try downloading an app like ashot for screen capture

You have to hold the power button then hit home. I just tried that and it works. I always use thr swipe or s pen method tho

I just use the s-pen by holding the button on the s-pen and then touching the screen and holding it there until the screen is captured. I find the timing and positions of the buttons too hard and I don't like gestures.
