Hi,
Does anybody's note 2 battery percentage jump around? Especially after a restart, mine will jump back up a few %. Have tried hard and soft reset. Just wandering if it is a normal thing.
Cheers

The battery does have a cache and software that monitors it. Just like any piece of software there may be bugs, a few percentage points difference between reboots may clear this cache which may make the software to take a new measurement. I should think if it 1-4% at most then should have nothing to worry about.

Unfortunately as phones become more and more technologically advanced then in turn so does the software that drives it. Bugs are inevetable and we as consumers or early adopters such as myself become unwitting beta testers so to speak.

To do a manual check to see how your battery is performing copy and paste this code into the dialer of the call function you will be immediately taken to a new screen. Touch the battery information block to see current status of the battery.

*#*#4636#*#*

Once you are in this new menu I would not suggest changing a single setting unless you are sure you know what you are doing.

So this is a normal thing? Cause I've googled and no one on a note 2 seems to have brought this up.

Btw that code doesn't work on mine.

Thanks for the quick reply though!

Weird. Yea it is a bit normal. Ive seen mine go up 2 percent on a reboot.

Did you paste the code here?

Also, this is what the screen looks like that I was talking about. if the health status is good then you shouldnt worry.

Yeah, it doesn't work, that's weird.

Could it be because my network provider blocked it?

It could be totally dependent on different models. Im sure if you googled note 2 test menu and your model number you could find the code.

Hmm doesn't seem to be one for the N7105T on the internet, or nobody has found it yet?

There is a menu that has setting for unlocking, apparently there are other things to look at in there as well. I cant do it cuz I have a different model.
