Smasung Galxy Note 1 wifi indicator showing dim green showing turning On. but not connecting to Wifi

Hi
I have been using this GALAXY NOTE 1 GT-N7000 phone since more than a year for surfing through wifi etc.with no complaints.Suddenly since yesterday night the WIFI ,indicator is just stuck its showing light green but doesn't turn on completely with the underline green below,nor does it go off.I tried all inspite of reboot ,removing battery and restarting etc.The settings also tried to slide the tab but its not sliding towards right and the tab also shows an inactive shade of colour.It seems to have hung up.Please need help as i am travelling abroad in a week and need this WIFI feature badly.
