Hey guys..... i use whatsapp application to communicate with family and friends overseas...... whatsapp now has a feature that allows you to record your voice messages...instead of chat messages... its works great... however....

the other day i was listening to my music files... when i realized that all my voice messages from whatsapp were saved and downloaded into my music album....

i had to go and delete each one... one by one.. so annoying...

any way to make a seperate folder for these files? or a way it doesnt actually save to the phone?

the application wechat i use often and dont have this problem

let me know!!!

If you can find out which folder WhatsApp stores voice message files in, you could add a blank file called ".nomedia" using any file manager app. When your media player scans the device for music, it skips any folder containing a .nomedia file. If the messages still show up, you might have to clear the data from your music player (under Settings/Apps) and let it rescan.
