I have a Verizon galaxy note 2 and a galaxy s3 and im trying to switch to a prepaid phone company without changing my phone because I love it. I've searched for hours and could not find a straight answer. is it possible to do and if so please explain in detail about how!!!

The Verizon Note II is factory sim unlocked. The s3 is unlocked after update. You should update to the latest software on both phones, then just pop in compatible sim. For data, you would probably need to edit the apn
