Broken Screen

My Galaxy Note 2 (Verizon edition) fell into the toilet. I dried it out in rice but the screen does not come on. Oddly enough I hooked it up to my computer and took screenshots to see what was on the screen. I discovered that I can navigate the phone even though I cannot see what I am doing. For the moment I blindly installed a program called mobizen which has allowed me to see my phone on the computer and navigate it like I normally would in hand. My question is which part should I purchase for the replacement of the screen since the touchscreen still works I just cant see anything. Should I buy the front glass replacement or the entire screen assembly?
