Quick question about the N9005 version.

Hey all,

I have read that this phone is sim locked to certain regions and I was wondering if I were to import the N9005 version of the phone if I would be able to use it(data and calls) in the Cayman Islands? As I travel between there and the U.S frequently. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Official word is, that the phone needs to be activated with a local SIM first. Then you can use whatever SIMs you wish. Dunno about factory reset though.

Thanks for the info guys. I also spoke with a rep at Negri who stated that the N9005 version is fully unlocked.
