Stock Note 3 browser slow?

The stock browser is painfully slow on my Note 3. It's basically unusable. Other browsers work fine.

Is anybody else having these issues?

I've never used the stock browser, just Firefox and Chrome. Is there a feature in the stock browser you're trying to access that the newer browsers don't offer?

The stock browser seems to work just as fast as the Chrome browser on mine.

my stock browser acts funny with the bookmarks. if i select to view my bookmarks, they some up real slow, and lag real bad when i try to scroll through them.
my bookmarks also stopped showing in the bookmarks widget. it is now blank.
sometimes i hit the back button, and get sent to another tab i have open.

i already tried the 'clear data' and 'clear cache' options in the application manager.
is there a way to reinstall the browser from scratch?
