I am sitting here at work in Wichita, ks and am getting a -108dbm signal. i am not sure what a good signal is, but I know that seems pretty low by communications standards. my speed test app showed a whopping .35mb down and .07 up. this thing is slow slow slow. guess i will have to bring my galaxy nexus in to test signal strenth. i know i never had data problems before because i share the internet with my co-workers via root and hotspot. Now im not sharing and the data speed is barely crawling. Guess i will be checking my signal everywhere.

At my house i was only getting 9.65mb down and 2.45 up.

I know that when my wife first got 4g here with her new htc thunderbolt, she was getting 25mb down and up at our house and that was 3 or 4 years ago.

That is getting low. But just wanted to point out that when the thunderbolt came out, 4g was new. The more people that get on the network, the slower it will get. Sometimes I wonder if we will get to 3G speeds someday again on 4g, hope not.

Are you always getting these speeds even at non peak hours?

I haven't checked my speed yet, but I've already noticed that I will sometimes only get 3G in areas that I used to consistently get 4G on my HTC Rezound. Hopefully there's something going on with Verizon's network and it's not device specific.
