So

I had an S4 and used Kies to backup everything.

Got the note 3 and had Kies transfer over the settings and stuff. No problem.

Last night I went to plug my note 3 in to Kies to do a back up then copy over a few movies.

Kies searches and searches and searches for the device and eventually I jsut kill the App. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Kies

same thing.

any suggestions? I got my movies over using android file transfer..but I wanted to do a backup afterwards.

Im using it on OSX 10.8.?

Reason I asked is because of this on top.......... I use Kies but wireless and it works fine for me.

The Note 3 requires Kies version 3.0. Are you sure that you are updated? If not, you can easily update via Samsung's website.

Yes Im on 3.0

When I got the note 3 it worked fine when I was trying to setup my note 3 from my galaxy s4. I went t0 back it up after I was finished setting it up and it doesnt work anymore...
