Anyone Using Note 3 with Chromecast?

I'm having some issues. On my OG Nexus 7 music streaming works fine, but if I play music from Google Play on my new Note 3, it'll play half of a song or so then it cuts out and loses connection to Chromecast. Any idea why this could be? Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep is set to Always. My receiver supports Bluetooth, but I'd prefer to use Chromecast because it doesn't drain the battery nearly as fast.

Also, Chromecast video streaming seems to be in general very slow to start and connect. My chromecast is right next to my wifi router too and my wifi speeds on everything else are super fast.
