Note 3: mm-qcamera-daemon showing high battery use

hi all,

new to droid. got a note 3 a few weeks ago and it has been great. overnight my phone charge dropped to 17% which is much much faster than normal. checked the battery for rogue app use and found "mm-qcamera-daemon" as using over 85% of battery. did a web search which associated it with a yahoo app. i haven't installed that app. all apps i HAVE installed are from google play store. powered down and then turned it back on and the same drain source came up again.

any thoughts/help??

It is related to camera. Check your camera setting. Had that once. Camera was stuck or something like that.

I had the same problem with my Note 3. I got rid of Dropbox, restarted my phone. Today I unplugged from the charger at 9 am & still have 48% battery left at 10 pm. Before I did this, I was charging a dead phone every 4-5 hours.
