Google Play certificate failed - Won't open

Hi,
I'm asking for someone else. I can't find this exact problem, only similar. The problem is that an authentication certificate fails on Google Chrome and Google Play, making us unable to download apps. And then using the laptop to download to our tablet says the app is installed and it's not.

We've emptied the cache and data, reset the tablet, and that hasn't worked. This is like iTunes not working on a MacBook Pro - it's frustrating. Anyone else know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

You were not very specific on what you are running on the laptop. Is it Windows? If so try opening Internet Explorer and lowering your security settings. Even if you are using another browser, the settings in IE can also affect Chrome, Firefox, etc.

Hi, sorry. Yes, Windows 7. Thanks, we'll try this today. This effects Google Chrome and Google Play on the Samsung Galaxy as well? Seems strange, but alright.
