Suggestions on note taking app with certain features?

Frustrated (as others) that I can't properly sync between my older Note 10.1 and new Note 3. I'm even more disappointed they got rid of the Note Page Widget (the 4x3) one that is on my Note 10.1 but not my Note 3. I really liked that I had a large page of easily viewable notes on my home screen. Are there any other pen note taking apps that will easily sync what I write on either device to the other AND let me display the notes as a widget or something so I don't actually have to pull up the app for a quick look? If I can't get the widget, what's the best that will just easily sync in the background between two devices? Thanks for any suggestions.

The only app I can think of is Evernote. It syncs between all my devices (macs and android).
There's also papyrus. They both have great widgets.

Thanks for the reply. I was playing around with Evernote. It just does handwriting to text doesn't it? I wanted actual handwriting.
