Default Are original images kept somewhere if an image is edited?

    Hi everyone,

There is an image saved on my Galaxy Note 3 that has been saved as a picture in picture. I didn't actually take the pic so i'm unsure what setting was used. But i'm wondering if anyone can tell me if the original image can be retrieved somehow or if it is only the edited image that is saved? If the original can be retrieved, can you please explain how?

    Thanks :-)

Example pic attached, not the image i am asking about.

Well, i guess it might have backup photo available !! but you need to have a look on the device more closely if its backed up then you would defiantly see it in the gallery !!
