I left the house this morning with 96% battery and did not use the phone all day. I just checked the battery and it was at 58%.
Here's what my usage shows!
I can understand why the clock and weather updates would use power but Clean Master?
(Maybe I should delete this app?)
What do you think is going on?

Re: Idle time battery useage.

Do you have gsam battery monitor? That will tell you what is keeping your phone awake. I would delete the clean master.

Re: Idle time battery useage.

Just delete the app. There really is no need for it unless you have a lot of junk on your phone.

I would delete clean master and also check the setting on the clock and wheather to make sure it is not updating very often.

I would agree with the other posters - if clean master is using that much of your battery life then delete it.

I have it but it doesn't even list in my top 10 battery users. My phone has been idle most of today so I thought you would like to see what someone else's looks like.

Let us know if your battery life gets any better after deletion/using the wake-wake - lock type apps to see what's eating your battery whilst not in use.

Sarks.

Close to 4% an hour on idle is way too much. Delete Clean master and perhaps the sense weather too, or at least check the sync settings

I deleted Clean Master and backed off the refresh time on the Sense weather and time widget.
Today's idle time was about the same as yesterday, about 11hrs. & 45 mins.
Today I went from 95% to 72% battery. I don't know if that's about normal but I hope so!
Any thoughts or input?
Thanks! Joe

Im in the midst of my third battery calibration since last Oct.

So far its been 18 hrs since charge, 3hr 40min screen on time, 68% left (2 hr movie, rests are web, email, text).

Overnight, it drained 2% in 8 hrs.

I guess I don't know how or where to measure screen on time.

supposedly, if you check battery usage, then tap the item "screen" on the list, it would tell you how much screen has been on.

Strangely, after 4.4.2 update, when I was doing the calibration (not sure if its related to kitkat though), the first 2 hrs of video play didn't contribute to the screen on time.

Yup. Tap on the screen item.
