    Default Note 3: Quick Root?

Hey, I did some research on rooting the Note 3 and I'm a bit lost...

I rooted my S4 with a "Safe Root". It didn't void my warranty, didn't delete my data, and didn't require any complicated steps.

I want to do the same thing for my Note 3. I found several sites that showed the same rooting method I used for my S4, stating it was also compatible with the Note 3. When I tired it the program said my device was not compatible. :/

I see a lot of listing about a method something De la something, but they all require complicated steps and claim to reset the device. I can handle multiple steps, but I really don't want to reset my device, not again!

Does anyone have or know of a simple, non Knox tripping rooting method which won't wipe my data? If not, what's the best method? Not voiding my warranty is my number one priority, then not wiping my data. Simple would be nice but I can handle dirty work if it will meet the other two criteria.

Thanks so much! I hope you're not all mad, I did research this first I just don't want to screw anything up!

I've been told to steer clear of apps/programs that "generically" root. Did it work well? Did it factory reset/wipe your apps and data? Is your Know flag tripped, voiding your warranty?

It's very true that one-click apps are looked down upon in the rooting community. I personally go for ease of use but still know how to fix it if anything goes wrong. Kingo doesn't trip the KNOX counter so you'll be good to go. I rooted my phone as soon as I got it so I wasn't worried about loosing app data. You can use something like MyBackup which has a version that doesn't require root access to backup your apps.

I also used Klingo along with safestrap. Worked great. I'm a first time Rooter.

Thanks. I did end up using this method and it didn't wipe my data.
