●help● adds pop up on homepage and in all apps

Whenever I am on my homepage or in a app even the dialer an add pops up telling me ivw won an ipad or telling me to download an app it is really annoying I cant think of any apps that would do this but I have messed around with a few apk downloads please help ;/

Welcome to Android Central! That kind of adware/annoyingware is not too surprising, considering that you've downloaded some apks. Try uninstalling those apps. In the future, avoid installing apks from unreliable sources--you run a higher risk of malware, and those apps might also be pirated.

Try using Airpush detector and/or a virus scan app to see what rogue apps you downloaded. AND QUIT WATCHING PORN ON YOUR PHONE!!!

When the ad pops up, pull down your notification panel, long press on the ad, the app info box should appear, click on it, that's the app causing the adware, delete it.

That unfortunately will only work if it's an ad in the Notification Area. There are ads that can popup as a window as well.
