Facebook friends birthday's don't syc any more on calendar.

I have been shutting off unused built in apps and somehow shut off the sync between Facebook and the built in calendar. I've checked my Facebook and calendar settings. I don't know what I my have shut off to cause this. Maybe some Google app or something. Any ideas?

I don't Facebook but I have disabled most built in apps and my brain, so cannot really advise YEW.

I hope it's OAK to bring this to YEWer attention.

Do you have Google calendar on your phone?....assuming that you do....go to this link and follow the how to;Android 101: How to sync Facebook Events with Google Calendar | Android Central

I had to Google all the trees!

Fwiw I can only sync My Calendar with Outlook, though rarely bother any more. I don't sync with Google calendar on my pc, though it's easy to do. I don't know if anyone uses Samsung calendar anymore. I do have repeat appointments on all 3 calendars though.
I didn't look at AndroidProf's link above. Experienced member who knows his / her stuff.

I went back to calendar and Facebook Settings and reset them and it is now working!
I'm so glad, I'm lousy at remembering dates!
