You won't miss your keyboard after a few weeks. Especially if you install SwiftKey keyboard app!
Options?
Power on. Call. Talk. Hang up. Leave. Charge.
Were you expecting more?
Congrats on the new phone.
I just like looking at mine, waiting for a call. Any call!

You said it right first time. I was just joking. There is a lot to pick up as you go along, as Clitrenta said. It has done my head in sometimes, with so many menus I'm still learning. I try to pretend it's just a phone to speak to people on!I guess I meant features, sorry my chemo brain kicks in some times.
Download SwiftKey if you want a BB style keyboard. BB ripped off SwiftKey, and claimed it to be their own work of genius. It's been on Android for longer than BB10. There are a few things I would love to see on SwiftKey, like hold for caps, but I'd bet that's a BB patent. If anyone's still wondering I got my Note about a week and a half ago. I still miss The Hub and the keyboard on my Z30 but I'm loving all of the apps. Still debating about launchers.
You can use apps to do what the hub does in BB, May not be exactly the same, but close enough.I think I might have hit my head. I have been missing some of the features from BB10 as of late. The biggest one being the hub. I picked up a Q5 as a spare phone to have just I'm case. And while playing with it, have come to miss the Hub. It was nice having all my social, messaging, connections in one place! Quick and easy to get to no matter where I am.
Then I started playing around with a few other things and such. Messed around with the application Snap. Realized that I can sideload all the apps that I have on my Note. They just aren't the same though. Sideloading just doesn't quite cut it.
I must be going crazy!

I'm giving SwiftKey a try now. I'm not sure I buy the comparisons to BB10 but I like it better than the Samsung keyboard so far. Well, except for the lack of double tapping the space bar for a period.

Ya, but the developers there are idiots. That option is available in SwiftKey. Go to settings>advanced and then select it. Then you can double tap away!

Definitely not a solitary one. I was with BlackBerry since my 8100 Pearl years ago. I still have a Z10, which I actually like, however, I got a Note 3 about a month ago and I absolutely love it! I'm still learning my way around it, but I can see it is a great device. I did have a GS3 prior to the Note and that was my first Samsung/Android phone. It pretty much convinced me that all the nonsense I'd heard about Android phones was ....well ....nonsense. I still like BlackBerry because I've never, ever had any problems with them, but I'm completely sold on my Note 3.Cheers lads, good to know my experience wasn't a solitary one.
I agree on the points made about the BB hardware - it would've been interesting to see how a BB running an android OS would've worked out.
Most amusing part of it all for me is how the diehards over at the BB forums seem to have wet pants over sideloading/running android apps on their BB10s. Here's a thought - buy an android. Very odd behaviour.
*shrug*
